Effect of environmental conditions on fire combustion regimes in mechanically-ventilated compartments

This publication deals with under-ventilated combustion regimes in case of pool fire a confined- and mechanically-ventilated enclosure. The objective is to improve the understanding ventilated compartment focusing on effect size ventilation rate. It based dodecane tests conducted reduced scale (1.875 m3) enclosure considering two varying parameters, diameter air flow rate prior ignition.
